Should I get Morpheus8 eye treatment?
Ideal candidates for Morpheus8 are those aiming to enhance their skin appearance non-surgically. It's effective for various concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, skin laxity, acne scars, uneven tone, and large pores, and suits all skin types thanks to its color-blind technology. This minimally invasive option is great for those wanting reduced downtime and improved collagen production for youthful skin. However, it's not suitable for pregnant women, individuals with active skin infections, or those with certain health conditions affecting healing. Consultation with a professional is essential to assess suitability based on personal skin issues and medical history.
What areas can Morpheus8 be treated?
Any area that can benefit from subdermal renewal can be treated with Morpheus8. Most commonly, neck and lower face areas are treated. We can treat wrinkles, discoloration, and acne scarring on the face and body.
How many treatments will I need?
You can expect to have between 1-3 treatments with Morpheus8 depending on your treatment regime. The number of sessions needed for laser hair removal varies depending on factors such as hair color, skin type, and the area being treated. On average, most people require 6 to 8 sessions spaced several weeks apart for optimal results. However, the exact number of sessions can be determined during a consultation with a qualified practitioner based on individual needs and treatment goals.

How long does each Morpheus8 treatment take?
Each session only takes about 15-60 minutes depending on the size of your target area.
Your session may be rescheduled if you have an infection or cut in the target area. This is because wounded skin may increase your risk of infection or other negative side effect.
You won’t need to go home and recover after your Morpheus8 treatment. While you may experience warmth, pinkness and mild aching in the area treated, these should all resolve within 2-3 days, at most. The aching has been described as the same kind you’d feel after having a good workout at the gym.
After each session, it will take roughly 3-6 months for your skin to remodel its collagen levels. This process, called Collagenesis, will occur over the months following your treatment. The improvement will last as long as the effects of aging, you may want to get “touchups” treatments every 9 months to a year for the most optimal results.
Is Morpheus8 treatment safe?
The Morpheus8 procedure is considered safe, performed by trained and experienced professionals. It utilizes advanced radiofrequency technology to stimulate collagen production and rejuvenate the skin, with minimal risk when following proper protocols.
When will I see the results?
Within a few days, visible Morpheus8 results can be seen, but the most noticeable results typically appear after three weeks. Treatment results continue to improve up to three months after treatment. Laser Hair Removal results are cumulative, so you will begin to see the hair shed in a few days after your first session. With each subsequent treatment session, you will continue to see further reduction in hair growth.

Dr. Dornn graduated from the University of Manitoba with a honours degree in microbiology. He attended the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA, graduating in 1997 with his Doctor of Optometry degree. He worked in Denver, Colorado until 1998 and returned to Winnipeg where he founded Dornn Eye Care.
Dr. Dornn is a member in good standing with the Manitoba Associated of Optometrists, Canadian Association of Optometrists, and the American Optometric Association.
