To ensure the best results and safety during your Forma RF treatment, it’s important to follow these guidelines:
1. Stop using any products containing Retinol one week before and after the treatment.
2. Discontinue topical retinoid therapy 2-4 days prior to your appointment.
3. Minimize sun exposure and use a zinc oxide sunscreen with at least SPF 30 if you need to be outdoors.
4. If medically permissible, avoid taking anticoagulants such as aspirin, mobic, ibuprofen, or naproxen for one week before the treatment.
5. Cease the use of Accutane six months prior to your appointment.
6. Avoid facials, lasers, injectables, and dermal filler treatments for one week before and after your Forma session.
7. Arrive at your appointment with clean skin—no lotion, makeup, perfume, powder, bath, or shower oil should be present on the treated area.
Following these recommendations will help ensure the effectiveness and safety of your Forma treatment.
The Aesthetician will begin by cleansing your skin. Subsequently, ultrasound gel will be applied to the designated treatment area, and the Forma RF device will be smoothly maneuvered over the selected regions until reaching and sustaining a specific temperature. Through radio frequency, the skin will be deeply penetrated and heated. The treatment head incorporates a temperature gauge to ensure precise control, preventing both under- and over-treatment of any areas. Generally, patients experience a pleasant warmth during the procedure.
A single session has the ability to provide a momentary skin tightening effect and create a more gentle and smoother complexion. Nevertheless, for results that are noticeably lasting, it’s advisable to undergo a minimum of 6 treatment sessions. For optimal outcomes, it’s recommended to arrange a weekly Forma RF facial session to fully experience the facial effects. If you decide to continue with monthly sessions for maintenance, the benefits can persist for several years, especially when combined with a suitable skincare routine, other treatment modalities and a healthy lifestyle.
After your Forma RF treatment, it’s important to follow these post-treatment care instructions:
Following these guidelines will help ensure optimal results and a smooth recovery from your Forma RF treatment.

I have suffered with Blepharitis and Dry Eye Syndrome for approximately three years. The prescribed treatment of warm compresses and eye drops did not solve my problem. Dr Lee-Wing recommended Dr Dornn. Dr Dornn is an excellent doctor who treated both my conditions with treatments called RF and IPL. I still use warm compresses to keep my Blepharitis in remission and seldom need to use HYLO Gel eye drops. This has made a big difference in my life and I am very grateful to Dr Dornn and his competent staff. With thanks, Carol L.
I’m 76 years old, I have suffered with dry, sore, red & itchy eyes for the last six months. Doing eye drops four times a day with no relief. On my last exam with Dr.Dornn, he said I had severe dry eyes, which was making me miserable. He suggested I try the RF treatment for dry eyes. I had three treatments, the results were great. My eyes have never felt better. I felt that without the dry, sore, red & itchy that could even see better. Best of all, no more drops & bonus part of the treatment, I got rid of the ugly bags under my eyes & even some wrinkles. I can’t say enough about the treatment, Dr.Dornn & his team. I wish to thank all of you’s at Dornn Eye Care for making my eyes & life so much better.
